Slanging Brooklyn and Detroit-style pizza made with the finest ingredients using Old World techniques in Honolulu’s historic Chinatown
Great tasting pizza my daughter bought us some Friday night my favorite pepperoni olives and red onions big New York style then a thick crust pizza nice and crispy with sauce on the top that was delicious too you can tell the sauce is homemade not from a jar or can ...
Perfect late night bite in downtown. We don't have too many New York style pizza places here, especially ones that are opened late so this was a plus. Fast and efficient service, and pizza came out hot and fresssssshhhhhh. I only had the pepperoni pizza this time but I can't wait to go back and try the other toppings and the Detroit style deep dish.
Quality pie, in both the Detroit and the NY/Neo round. I work around the corner and grab pies to go about once a month. Order time is always accurate, and the pies are consistent in quality and taste. Love being able to grab a slice fairly quickly at lunch time, but I usually order a whole pie so I have leftovers for dinner. Typically does not make it to a 2nd day. I've always grabbed to go, never did dine in.
This is always some of my favorite pizza; excellent ingredients, dreamy crust, beautiful craftsmanship. Tonight, though, after a rough day of work, the pizza was even more magnificent than normal. The things that are usually great were transcendent. Keep fighting the good fight, my pizza warriors, making tough days better for Honolulu, one pie at a time. Love you.
I'm a NY style pizza gal. Never have been a fan of the thick pan crust. However, Pizza Mamo changed that for me with their Detroit Roni pizza. Something about that crusty crispy buttery edges of the crust and . . . sauce on top . . . just adds up to a delicious slice of pie! We also tried the Garlic Bomb pizza . . super tasty as well, but next time want to try the mushroom one.
